Computer Art/Week 3

So that is part of my computer graphics class. I chose to do things involving Savannah, Ga. The first two are outlines and then the third is my logo for the city. All done with illustrator.

Masks

I thought maybe since the scanners and I don't really get along. So I figured I could at least use my photobooth to take pictures of some masks I just made. I know the quality isn't really top notch, but it will have to do for now.






Yes there is one completely covered in glitter, one covered in colored feathers and lots of faux fur trimming.

So I hate the scanners at Flagler. They suck big time. So until I get that sorted out here is a painting I did a couple months ago. It's also my icon. It was my first oil painting.
Lately I have really been into comics and an awesome comic I have come across is Kate Beaton. She does history comics that are actually funny! http://beatonna.livejournal.com/

Official Week One

So here are some images from my daily sketch book. On the left side I have to draw myself everyday and then on the right side I can do what I please.
And I swear I will get good at scanning these in sometime this semester!


This one was inspired by two really great music videos. The first one the people and lyrics were taken from, and then the second one gave me the idea for the text format.

The last one is my favorite. I put the stickers down the day we kind of did random things to the pages, so I had to react to them and that's what I made. Note who is labeled pimp and who is the bitch. Yeah, I know it's pretty fly.

Now for cool blogs I have come across.
Juxtapoz.com is my all time favorite one. They post art that is being made right now from on the verge artist. Kinda underground edgy stuff.

So this is my first official post! I'm kind of scope things out and see how I want to use this blog.
